PaloHost Network

PaloHost uses top-tier datacenters in Houston (Texas) and Provo (Utah). Our Houston datacenter is located in the CyrusOne Houston West facilities; the Provo datacenter is within the Ace Data Centers facilities.

The strategic use of facilities provides the flexibility needed for PaloHost to offer the performance, quality, and reliability demanded by customers. To ensure services run without interruption, datacenters use top-of-the-line server hardware, as well as HVAC, electrical, and network systems - also top-tier.

Houston, Texas Datacenter Resources

PaloHost's commitment to quality goes hand in hand with the facilities offered by CyrusOne Houston West. With 300,000 square feet and international standards, the datacenter offers an infrastructure with multiple levels of redundancy, meeting the demand for uninterrupted services.

CyrusOne's power infrastructure features highly redundant systems, including: UPS battery backup, power distribution units, Detroit diesel generators, and diesel fuel tanks, each with capacity for thousands of gallons. For HVAC, a 42” raised floor is cooled with redundant 70-ton CRAH units, EPAK 500-ton quick-start chillers, and 70,000 gallons of local water storage.

The NOCC is managed 24/7 to ensure constant monitoring of the infrastructure. Our facilities are outside flood-prone areas (certified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency), and to increase security, we use the latest smoke detection and hurricane containment devices.

Provo, Utah Datacenter Resources

Ace Data Centers provides PaloHost with an extremely efficient 8,500 square meter datacenter. A unique benefit of Ace datacenters is the energy-efficient design project, which significantly increases power usage effectiveness (PUE) under 1.2.

Redundancy is fundamental to PaloHost datacenter operations, and Ace Data Centers offers top-quality infrastructure. Power is fed through critical redundant paths, segregated dual transformers, 750kW UPS battery backup units, N+1 diesel generators, each with thousands of gallons of fuel storage. Cooling is achieved via N+1 redundant chillers, 36” raised floor, and 60-ton Liebert CRAC units, providing over 700 tons of cooling capacity.

Fire protection is provided through laser smoke scanners and heat detection systems. A fire suppression system and a sprinkler system are also installed. Regarding security features, the datacenter is monitored 24/7 via CCTV security cameras, has security entries, mantrap access control, and biometric locks.

Network Resources

PaloHost operates a fully redundant high-performance network using the latest technologies. Our network infrastructure equipment includes high-performance gear from Arista Networks, Arbor Networks, Brocade, Juniper, and Cisco.

To ensure low latency and high throughput, we equip our various facilities (geographically spread) with massive bandwidth capacity. We use a wide range of network carriers, including Level 3, nLayer, Comcast, Cogent Communications, and Hurricane Electric.

Monitoring

Monitoring

In addition to a fully redundant network with top-resource datacenters, PaloHost monitors all servers 24/7. Servers are monitored and issues are extinguished before they become serious. Furthermore, the datacenter network is monitored and managed by dedicated technicians to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
